April 2005 marks the launch of a new electrical installation and maintenance company in the Frome area.
Known as ELECTRIX, the company
consists of Chris Philpott and son Stephen Philpott, and all types of electrical work, namely domestic, commercial and industrial will be undertaken. |

Chris Philpott
is well known in the Electrical Engineering World, and until recently was in charge of all Engineering Maintenance at a large local Processing Dairy.He brings with him a wealth of practical
and theoretical experience gained over many years of experience in an industry which has always tended to be at the forefront of control system technology, and as such he is fully conversant with
high voltage (11KV) distribution and switching, 415V 3 phase installation and theory, instrumentation and the application of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs - both Allen Bradley and
Mitsubishi) in a high speed process environment |

Steve Philpott
has been working for several years on new and existing electrical installations, having completed an electrical industry Modern Apprenticeship.Qualifications include
City & Guilds 2360/5 Electrical installation & theory. NVQ level 3 certification in requirements for electrical installation BS761 2391 Testing & inspection.
